Build what breaths with you 💖
Today has been an incredible day. Two wonderful coaching sessions with two incredible women who are building businesses that honour their current seasons. Seasons that call for patience, trust, and faith in a process that can’t yet be seen.
It’s tough when you:
Know you want to build something, but can’t quite get there fast enough.
Have to focus on work that doesn’t light you up, just to pay the bills.
Feel like you’re starting from the ground up when your experience should be getting you further along by now.
Know what you need to grow your idea, but lack the funds to make it happen.
I love this for them. 💖
Not all seasons are meant to be chaotic, viral, or full of prosperity. Sometimes, the season calls for humble steps to smooth out the path ahead, so that when the door opens, you’re ready to receive what you’ve been asking for all along.
Feelings of stuckness aren’t true stuckness — they are simply seasons of transition. They are the messy in-between, when the world around you continues to spin, but you feel like you’re standing still, often alone, unsure of what’s next, with a deep knowing that you are meant for more.
There is magic and integration in the pause, a slowness that feels uncomfortable, yet paradoxically powerful.
Your experience, your knowledge, your needs—all of it counts. No journey, life or business, is ever a straight line. It’s always the wiggliest line you can imagine, each curve and bump designed to help you become the person capable of loving, enjoying, and sustaining what you’re asking for.
Imagine if what you asked for was delivered straight to your door, without any effort. It might overwhelm you, leaving you unprepared and unsure of how to handle it. The chaos might blind you to the gift it truly is.
So, what can you do when you're asking, “What’s next?”
Honour your season: If you need financial relief, do what’s necessary to generate income. Your nervous system will thank you, and once your foundational needs are met, your creativity will begin to flow.
Observe yourself: Pay attention to what brings you joy. Notice how things make you feel and jot down your thoughts, this is your “Mirror List.”
Take time to ponder: Go for a walk, spend time alone in a place you love, listen to music, read a book, or eat the cake, whatever nourishes your soul.
Take a humble next step: If you want to paint, paint. If you want to write, write. If you want to build a business, begin your research, but do so without pressure. Allow this act to be joyful and aligned with your current season.
Be kind to yourself: A transition sometimes feels like a void. When I started to understand my energy blueprint and my Human Design profile it helped me hugely. But it could never give me the answers I truly wanted - nobody could tell me what I am here to do, what the next version of my purpose was. I eventually found it when I was gentle with myself, spent time with myself, nourished myself with love and joy and looked inwards. Which is why all of the points above are so important.
Sometimes...you are meant to lead from the path, not the pedestal. 💖
And honestly, that’s the hardest place to be. Especially when your soul is calling you to slow down so it can show you what’s next. because this chapter, the one just around the corner, will be the most incredible of them all.
And when you do... you will:
Create what’s true 🥰
Grow what’s you 🌱
Build what breathes with you 💖
There’s power in the silence... lead from the path.
Much love,
Effie x
P.S. If any of the above resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
My coaching has grown quickly over the past few months, and I’m so grateful for that. A year ago, I wouldn’t have even used the word "coach" in my work, but I guess the universe had other plans. 💖
I’m currently fully booked for April & May coaching sessions, but if you’d like to chat, my inbox is always open. x
