Deep Roots, Different Seasons 💪🏼🌸
Ever Blooming: Edition #3
Hello,
Welcome to the #3 edition of my Ever Blooming 🌸
My intention is: to help you create a life and business that breathes with you.🌱
This week has felt a little different as I have just returned home from a week in Cyprus visiting my family and surprising my mum for her birthday. I tend to think I have two homes. The first is here with Clive and Alice on the Isle of Wight and the second is where my ‘big greek’ family lives and the oh so delicious food 😀

I am the eldest of 4 and it always seems to surprise people when I explain that we all have our own businesses.
I love the time we spend together, we have our own inner circle of building, creating and growing and we are incredibly passionate about the ‘work we do’ .. I always ask mum what she ate when she was growing us 😂 but I suspect it’s also a lot to do with the culture in which we were raised, I’m convinced Cyprus is ‘entrepreneur country"
Every single one of us has also experienced the ‘bit in the middle’ the part where there isn’t quite the language for it and yet you can feel yourself brushing up against the edges of change.
Your life and business asking something different from you. It could be a decision, a new system, a new product or service or even the need to focus on an area to expand upon.
The ‘bit in the middle’ is often the part that feels the loneliest, it’s persistent, asking more from you. It’s the chapter that requires staying power in order to continue on the path.
Steady, manageable growth doesn’t mean slow growth, it’s a narrative that is often misunderstood. We are often in such a hurry to achieve the ‘thing’ we forget that what we are building isn’t fleeting. It deserves to be here for a long time 🩷
Deep roots - always!
..
A story for today..
My baby brother Antoni (who is 9 years younger than me and has a family of his own 😀) owns a garage in Paphos. He is a genius when it comes to cars .. He travels all over Cyprus and the UK to fix issues with engines others are unable to solve.
18 months ago he hit a moment when the business he built wasn’t sustainable. Cash wasn’t flowing and despite the endless amount of customers ..
It wasn’t enough ..
Soo he poked about and discovered that in Cyprus very few people specialise in Range Rovers ..
And so he started ..
That one decision changed the entire landscape of his business.
The ‘bit in the middle’ asked something different of him.
To simplify, focus and take a leap of faith 🩷
The result is a stronger, bigger, stable business which provides a beautiful life and foundation for his family, aswell as a gift that lights him up from the inside out.
..
Journal prompt for the week:
Where in my life or business can I feel the edges of change right now?
What might the ‘bit in the middle’ be asking of me?
If I simplified instead of expanded, what would shift?
What decision have I been circling that could change the landscape entirely?
Where am I mistaking steady for slow?
What would “deep roots” look like in this season?
If I trusted that what I’m building is here for the long term, what would I do differently?
What would focusing feel like instead of scattering?
..
Quote to ponder for the week:
“Your business lights you up because it’s meant for you. Remember that on the days when you are ebbing, rather than flowing”
